The mat tucks under the door sill plate and the centre piece. So between that and the dead pedal attachment point, the mat does not move around at all. I had done the dead pedal shortening mod and was concerned that the carpet might not fit quite right. Not a problem. I opted for the classic black so it does not dramatically change the appearance over the factory black carpet.

Was just worried these mats would be hot like black leather seats on a hot day. Wife likes to wear shorts and go barefoot in the car so wasn’t sure if they’d be too hot. I am in Florida so I can tell you they hold up to heat well.
